The "Zuqaq" Collection draws inspiration from the streets and cities of Palestine, captured through paintings that tell stories of history and heritage. "Zuqaq," an Arabic word meaning a narrow alleyway nestled between or behind buildings, often evokes the image of ancient places steeped in history. This collection is my tribute to the cities and villages of my homeland, many of which have been erased from the map or had their names altered. Every brushstroke in this series was a labor of love, and I hope you find as much joy in viewing them as I did in creating them.

At Nora Alshaikh Art Studio, every artwork is created with great care and attention to detail. We want you to love your purchase and feel confident in your investment. Because each piece is made to order or one-of-a-kind, please review our policy carefully.
1. Original Artwork
All original paintings and mixed-media artworks are final sale. Due to their unique nature, we do not accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations once the artwork has shipped.
If your artwork arrives damaged, please contact us within 3 days of delivery with clear photos of the damage and packaging. We’ll work with you to repair, replace (if possible), or refund your purchase.
2. Prints and Reproductions
Prints may be eligible for return or replacement under the following conditions:
The item arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect.
You contact us within 7 days of receiving your order.
The item is returned unused and in its original packaging.
To initiate a return, please email nora@noraalshaikhart.com with your order number and photos showing the issue.
3. Custom or Commissioned Artwork
All custom or commissioned pieces are non-refundable. Before shipment, you will receive preview photos to approve the final artwork. Once approved and shipped, no changes or refunds can be made.
4. Shipping & Handling
Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect.
We recommend using a trackable shipping method for all returns.
Refunds (if applicable) will be processed within 7–10 business days of receiving the returned item.
5. Color Accuracy
Please note that colors may appear slightly different on screen due to monitor settings. We strive to represent each artwork as accurately as possible, but slight variations do not qualify as defects.
