Breathing Palestine explores the relationship between body, land, and memory under conditions of rupture and survival. The series approaches Palestine not only as a geographic location, but as an emotional and psychological terrain shaped by absence, persistence, and breath.

Fragmented forms, restrained palettes, and partial figures recur throughout the work, suggesting a state of suspended continuity. The paintings reflect on what it means to carry place internally—through memory, gesture, and silence—when physical access is restricted or denied.

Breathing Palestine positions breath as both a biological necessity and a metaphor for endurance, asserting presence in conditions that seek to erase it.
