I created an oil painting on stretched canvas featuring Amman, where I spent my entire life before recently relocating to the US. My inexplicable attachment to Amman and the feeling of homesickness inspired me to paint it. Despite its problems and issues, I have come to realize that I genuinely love this city. Initially, I thought I was trying to escape it, but soon I realized that I longed for the city that holds all my life's memories. As a Palestinian artist, this painting is a personal tribute to my beloved Amman.
